I work as an investigative designer browsing through the complexities of modern lifestyles, mass-productive industries and their systemic relation towards global asymmetries and blind spots.

My work aims to make complexities tangible through material languages, which are inherent to my practice as designer. I use mappings, animations, installations, mock-up softwares, video documentation, sound performances, objects and materialisations to articulate the complexities in simple form.

In recent years, I have been able to apply my working methods within the fields of ICT manufacturing, e-waste processing, container shipping, AI + Human Resource management, urban consumer spaces, the food industry and in a comparison of e-commerce platforms with offline urban markets.

Core interests of my work are cultures of trade, the flow of objects and materials, the distribution of value – socially, culturally and financially – the debate on labour and work, global asymmetries embedded within the flow of objects, outsourcing, mass-consumerism and climate change.

My work establishes and marks relations to many geographical contexts which are economically intertwined with Europe. For political and personal reasons, the work conducted outside of Europe is always reflected back to the European context and aims to perceive this context's position from divers angles to generate alternative constructive imaginaries.
